April Wynkoop & Kyle Hopson

Our Story

Kyle and April met in high school. While they barely knew each other then, their lives would cross paths several years later.

After graduating Park View High School in 2003, Kyle moved to Colorado where he studied to become an airplane mechanic. April moved to North Carolina to study teaching. After Kyle received his Associate's Degree, he returned home to Virginia. Struggling with college, April returned home to change direction in her life and obtain her Associate's Degree in Business Management.

Christmas of 2008 become a turning point for both Kyle and April. After meeting again on the internet, the two became fast friends. Upon their first in person meeting, they knew that they wanted to further their relationship and started dating exclusively.

Less than a year after dating, Kyle and April knew their lives would never be complete without each other. They soon started talking about marriage and children. They set their wedding date for October 2010.

April loves Kyle for his spontaneous ways and his unique sense of humor that can make her laugh on her worst days. Kyle enjoys being around April because of the way she allows him to be himself. They both feel supported by each other and look forward to sharing every moment of their lives together.
