For those of you who know me, the bride, you know that I love organization!! Especially those of you who have had the opportunity to see me work and study through law school. For every law school course, I created my own binder. The binders for each term, were different (neon) colors. I would print out a sheet for the front cover that would contain all information necessary about the binder, its contents, where the class took place, etc. I would make a smaller version for the spine of the binder as well. I also have this color-coded, highlighting method when it comes to studying, that tends to blow people's minds . . . I like organization and things that are visually appealling. So it would not come to a suprise to most of you that I wanted to create my own wedding binder. I searched at bookstores and online for a destination planner that would suit my needs. What I found is that, most binders assume you are having a $50k wedding or they contain things that were not applicable to our planning needs. So when it doubt, make your own.

About two months ago, I had asked Sean to bring up my boxes of craft things from college. I planned to scavenge through the boxes to find enough scrapbooking things to decorate my planner with. As I was admiring all of the cool scrapbooking stickers, that Sean rolled his eyes about everytime I came home from HobbyLobby . . . I found the most interesting piece to the story . . . an old boarding pass.

If you have read other parts of this website, you would have read that Sean and I took a trip to Punta Cana during college springbreak. Sean likes to tell people he, "set the bar high" by taking me there, because I now expect to be treated like royalty. Well, Sean is right. He treated me fancy too early on, so naturally I have high expectations. LOL. I like to categorize it as a law professor of mine once said, "We work hard, so we can play even harder." This is my motto.

So, as I am looking through the boxes of craft/scapbooking supplies, I find the boarding pass . . . The boarding pass was issued to me, on March 8, 2009. We were leaving Punta Cana for the States. Without knowing, we booked our flights for our Weddingmoon . . . then I found the old boarding pass I had kept for scrapbooking purposes. Sean and I leave for Punta Cana March 8, 2016 . . .

Now some may look at the dates and think, wow that is interesting. But for me, it seems to be much more. When I think about all of the trials and tribulations we have been through in the last seven years . . . I would have never guessed that we would be returning to the exact spot, with a child in tow, expecting friends and family's arrivals, and preparing to exchange vows. We left Punta Cana March 8, 2009 not knowing what life had in store for us. We arrive in Punta Cana March 8, 2016 as if we are fianlly back to continue the love story . . . where it all began.
