Our Story

Our lives were brought together thru the Lord. The Lord had to both work in us in order to meet and be able to form a family.

Mary (Rodger's) mom had came to know me at bible study which we both attend. She had mentioned to me (Laura) that she had a son and that she would like for me to meet him. In the beginning I was not intrested in having a relationship, so I tried to put it off as much as I could. One day as I was getting ready for church on Sunday when I received a very unexpected phone call... It was Mary telling me that her son was in town and she immediately haded over the phone to Rodger. We agreed to meet at Wednesday night service at the church which I attend. It since has bacame our church.

Our Wedding

Our wedding will take place at Mt. Zion Church located at 4900 Maybee Rd. Clarkston, MI 48348 inside the old sanctuary. The cermony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm on Saturday October 10th 2009.

If you are coming from 75 N. you can exist Sashabaw Rd. Go South on Sashabaw to Maybee Rd Go East on Maybee you will make a quick left on Clintonville Rd. Then a Right on Maybee Rd again. You will see the church on your right 1st entrance on the right
