We would like to take a moment to mention Angel's grandmother, Barbara Battles, who was finally called Home in early 2011 from a long battle of cancer. "Granny" was a very important piece of Angel's upbringing and is the person who made Angel the caring, loving, person she is today. Her endless strength was admirable, being through so many trials and tribulations, and somehow NEVER lost faith in God. Even during her last days on Earth, she was able to comfort her love ones and still share wisdom with us all. Her death was hard to accept at first, but through a patient grieving process and growing closer to God, her family was able to be at peace with the fact that the matriarch of their family was in a MUCH better place. We know that she is still smiling down on us and will be at the ceremony in spirit, withnessing her baby exchange vows with the love of her life....We love you and miss you Granny.....
