 | I had heard about Ty frequently (for years) from his dad, Tony in the past. I attended church in the same building where Tony attended, so we saw each other frequently. Every time I would see Tony, he would ask me when I was planning on going on a date with his son, Tyrone. Ty & I were both a little hesitant to meet each other at first, but once Ty discovered me on Facebook, we had instant chemistry. He "friended" me and we chatted online frequently. It was just after my birthday in March 2010 that we decided to go on a date. Actually, Ty requested to cook me a "late birthday" dinner at his house. He was such a gentleman. He dressed up real handsome, drove to my house and picked me up AND brought me red roses. I still recall what he cooked that night, FROM SCRATCH: baked chicken stuffed with fresh mozzarella and cappicola, seared garlic asparagus and wild rice. After that delicious dinner, I could never turn him down for another date. We went to many restaurants, on numerous dates and we had a blast. It was love at first sight...he was my knight in shining armor! The greatest thing is that he still cooks dinner from scratch at home and his cooking is quite amazing! I have been very blessed in my life to have met such an incredible man. He stands by my side no matter what situation and there is never a night when he does not kiss me good night. He tells me how beautiful I am and how much he loves me daily. I could not ask for more. I am excited to marry my best friend, my partner, the love of my life. |
