Our ceremony will start at 3:30pm on June 20th, 2015 at the Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa under the gazebo.
Our Officiant
The ceremony will be officiated by pastor Mark Lykins, a non-denominational minister in the Dominican Republic. He is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and have been serving as a pastor/missionary for about 30 years. He was born in Ohio in the United States and lived in both Kentucky and in North Carolina. In his mission work he has lived in Liberia, West Africa; Argentina, South America; and in the Dominican Republic.
He has a mission in the Dominican and he works with Haitian batays…Haitian migrant camps… in the sugar cane fields. he also receive about 10 mission teams a year from the U.S. where they come to help him with thier missions there. He receives about 8 students a year through our Mission Residency Program where young people from the U.S. come and live with his family and they train them how to be real missionaries.
Pastor Mark has written about 20 books over his years about things like faith, mission, and living by mission principles. He has a B.A. degree from Georgetown Baptist College in Social Work, a Masters in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from Ohio State University, and a Masters of Divinity (M.Div) from Duke University Divinity School. |
